Brand new opportunity for Closet Designers nationwide...

Q: Tell me again, what is a ClosetMaster?
A: My easy answer is this. A ClosetMaster is a Closet Designer having four years (full time) experience in the design and sales of contemporary closet systems. Let me put it another way. If you have been stressed, blessed, and challenged by lots of people shopping for new closets and have perservered for at least four years..you are one.

Q:Who says that this is the definition of a ClosetMaster?
A: I do. Give a definition to a term that is otherwise useless, claim the word for ourselves and monetise it. Thats the strategy. This term 'ClosetMaster' can be used to our benefit.

Q: What certificate ?
A: The ClosetMaster certificate that I send you.. You earned it, and I will send it to you. It is downloadable and printable. And believable. Put it in your pitchbook, the book of pictures and testimonials that you show to potential clients, so they will buy from you instead of your competitors. It will display your achievement and get you a few points with the customers.

Having said that, I admit that the certificate is not hugely valuable. That is, when you compare it's value to the online listing . It is the online listing that spells M-O-N-E-Y, because that is where you will be found by people looking online for closet designers to call, to trust, and to buy from.
If you are a ClosetMaster it is likely that you work on commission, and that commission is likely to be higher for sales resulting from self-generated leads. Being included on the ClosetMaster website will get you the leads that mean more cash in your pocket.

Here's my proposition in a quick summary:
I have created the ClosetMaster website. http://closetmaster.blogspot.com/ .On this site are listed legimate ClosetMaster names and contact information. If you are qualified, email your information to Colleen, my office manager. She will add you to the website. You can use the term 'ClosetMaster' on your business card instead of
'salesperson' or 'closet designer'. ClosetMaster can also be used on your personal blog and website (which you should, and must have in this day and age).

In effect we are giving definition to a homemade word. Google will find it, (already has), and that will be the key to more money in your paycheck. Proper use of Google, Yahoo, and the other big search engines is the 'Key-to- Free'. I just made that up. Key-to-free...That's what I'm talking about, nobody has to pay for the business that results from a new word found by Google search engines.

By working together we can make the public recognize this word. A goal is to get it onto Wikipedia, which Google likes to place on first page results. That will happen. Trust me.

Recently I read an eye-opening book, 'The World is Flat'. One of the arguments presented is that the world of commerce has been changed so much that even a little guy like you and me can reach and sell to billions of people via the internet. Today we have an opportunity like never before for self promotion. Take advantage of it.

You are a ClosetMaster and always will be, even if you change your employer.You work for a mom and pop outfit or a franchise, it doesn't matter and that's because ..

Thats no lie , you are a qualified Closet Designer, you have worked hard at your craft and have become a professional. Now monetize your experience. Band together with others and profit by the experience. You deserve to be known as 'ClosetMaster so and so'. Accept the title if it fits. It will lead to money and prestige.

Our purpose is to recognize the highly talented and devoted designers in our industry. That recognition will be shared with the general public and lead to increased income for us all. Ps.
It costs a lot of money to bring leads into a closet company by advertising. If you are not being paid extra for self-generated leads, ask your manager to make it happen. If your commision of 10 percent jumps to 15 percent on these deals you have increased not by 5%. but by 50%. Do the math, thats a big raise. It's worth negotiating for, and worth the effort to find self-generated leads that will pay you big bonus's.
